A Debt Management Plan,
the only way to *TOTAL* debt elimination
You need a debt management plan. You are looking for a free
debt management program. Do you have too much debt? Do you hate debt? Do
you feel like your entire paycheck goes to debt? If you answered YES to
these questions you are in the right spot. Credit is far too easy to get
these days, and we all get sucked in. Free interest, no payments, easy
financing, 10% discount for opening an account, these phrases beg us to
open a credit account. We've been taught if you can afford the monthly
payment buy it. Enough already. We shouldn't use credit. Okay, well
maybe minimally. We all need credit to buy our house, and probably our
first car. But beyond that, we shouldn't use credit.
On this site, I'm going to give you more information on debt than you
want to know. I know you are here because you want to be debt free. You
need help with a debt management plan, debt elimination, and you want
free information.
I'll talk about budgeting, planning, how to pay off debt, snowballing
payments, accelerator margins, and many other debt helps that will
assist you in getting out of debt fast.
Search the site to find what you are looking for.
By using credit and "affording" those monthly payments, we are really
just locking ourselves in handcuffs. By the time we pay off the credit,
the item is old, and we want or need a new one, so we go right back into
debt. This leads to us always carrying our debt with us everywhere we
go. Which is why we are always so tired!
We never spend less than we make, we always spend slightly more. Why?
Because our budgeting skills are not taught by the right people. The
credit industry teaches us we can afford 40% of our gross salary to debt
payments. This is what they base mortgage and auto loan decisions on.
But a blanket statement like that is deadly. We are all unique, our
spending habits differ, and our expense to income ratio should differ.
And our debt management plan needs to be different.
There are so many debt elimination programs out there, how do you
know which ones are any good? The short answer is you don't. There are
so many, and new ones popping up almost daily it seems. The key is never
spending a small fortune for debt advice. Join me as I build this site,
to give you all the skills you need to get started with your debt
management plan, and make educated decisions.
I once called in for a debt consolidation loan, and by the time they
were done with me I was $18,000 more in debt, than before I called! I
didn't sign those papers. I realized, luckily before I signed, that this
loan was really bad for my wallet. There were the usual closing costs,
but then there was a consulting fee for them to customize this solution
for me. $7000? Are you joking. You put my details into a piece of
software, and it did all the work, you might have taken 30 minutes to
"customize" this solution, the other $6950 was to pad their own wallet.
Check out
the details of their "plan" here
No thank you I said. I'll stick out my current situation. Remember
this is a real life scenario, no joke! Wow you say; you are right. They
were supposed to save me money. This was a very popular site that I'm
sure has "helped" hundreds of other people. In some situations this
might make sense. Very few situations I might add, but for some it
might. But not me. I was making all my payments on time; I didn't have
any extra money left over at the end of the month, but then who does?
I stumbled upon a few debt reduction strategies that actually made
sense, asked around about them, and found out that all the "experts"
don't know the details. So I became the expert. I researched every
avenue of the programs, and discovered the reason the experts don't want
us to know about these, is because these methods cut into their
paychecks! Everything "they" tell us is wrong. And by they, I mean the
experts, and the debt and credit industries. They want us to stay in
debt! Even the companies that claim their mission is to help us. They
all make money by keeping us in debt, debt consolidation loans are just
an instant cash machine, they make huge commissions every time we
refinance. And we set ourselves back years in the process. If you are 5
years into your mortgage and you refinance, wham, back to 30 years. If
you do that a few times, before you know it, you'll be on track for a 50
year mortgage! Yikes! Nobody wants that kind of debt management plan!
As I continued to learn and study the things I had found, I became
even more upset that they are keeping us in debt. We must fight our own
will power because what they peddle is so enticing! They are selling us
the life we want, but it comes at a cost, a huge cost. Our future, our
retirement! We get buried so deep in our debt that we can't afford to
save for our retirement. Instead of saving for 12 months to buy that
flat panel TV, we finance it for 36 months.
Then they come out with new schemes, to lend ourselves the money,
genius, lock us into a new type of debt, insurance premiums. Pay
$1000/month for the rest of our lives, and then borrow our own money.
I discovered several secrets the banks and credit industry don't want
us to know about. These tricks work against the banks, and for the
consumer. I started using these tricks and actually "found" an extra
$100/month that my bank had been keeping for themselves! I created a
debt management plan and I started putting that $100/month toward my
debt, I was able to rapidly pay down several loans. This strategy
allowed me to open my first 401K and start saving for my future!
Are you curious how much of your money your bank is keeping? Do you
use a credit card / debit card for most purchases? Could you? Did you
know many billers accept credit cards / debit cards, instead of a check?
Did you know the bank is using the money you leave in your checking
account? Even if only for 1 day? Stop the madness, it's your money, it
should be working for you, not the bank!
My goal is to get you to financial freedom. To me that means total
debt freedom! This can only be accomplished with a great debt management
plan.
I'll be getting into the details more on the following pages. You can
browse by clicking links below, or on the navigation bar on the left
hand side. Look around this is the only free debt management program
you'll find.
To summarize the best debt management plan, I've taken a 7 step
approach. The first steps are easy, maybe refreshers, and then the steps
get more and more involved, and maybe complex. But I'm doing everything
I can to keep it simple, and to help you customize your personal debt
management plan. Ideally I'd like to have you login, and keep your debt
management plan online for ease of use, but that would be complex, and
cost money, and I really want to get this information out to the masses,
so to keep it all free, you'll have to download some spreadsheets, and
keep your information on your own computer.
So just follow the 7 step debt management program to completion, and
then you can dive into the other resources that are available to you
