Debt Free Living!

You've made it, so what is debt free living all about? You have your debt paid off, you are saving your money, you are getting close to retirement. So you might be wondering what else is there to cover? Well this page is here to tell you, keep the pace. It won't get easier in retirement, in fact it will be harder to not spend all your hard earned money. Once again, setup scheduled transfers. But now you'll be transferring from your savings to your main account. Keep using those high interest accounts, never use a regular checking account again, it's just allowing the bank to use your money for free.

By now you'll probably want to move on to more material, so check out my other recommended reading:

It gets harder because you'll want that Corvette, or Porsche. Unless you planned ahead for that, making big purchases, that are not in the budget will drain your savings faster than you had planned. This means you'll run out of money before you die. Don't let this happen. During your retirement planning, make sure you have the money to do the things you want to do. You won't be living debt free if you don't plan ahead!

I said it in the beginning and I'll say it again here, "If you fail to plan, you're planning to fail!" So do a little planning now, and save yourself later.

I want to say one other thing relating to debt free living. If you can find a residual income stream you can maintain a much higher lifestyle into retirement. There are many programs out there along these lines. Some people choose real estate, sales people might choose to sell a service like long distance, internet service, cell phones, business phones, etc. You need to find something that fits your personality, and that you can do.

Maybe some day I'll post some links to programs that I believe in (like the one that helped me with this website). But for now, just plan ahead! For debt free living, remember you need a debt management plan!

Good luck on your retirement. If you have any questions or comments, please let me know.

That's it, you've reached the end. Goodbye.

Why are you still reading this? Go, enjoy yourself.

OK, one last tid-bit, because you're persistent. Debt free living starts and ends with you. You are in control, remember? Don't lose control.
